Our Program

Seedlings Daycare is a small intimate childcare program run from my home.  This program is structured for ages 12 months to 5 years old.  It is offered as a full-time program, Monday to Friday. This program runs from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily.

We live in a safe neighbourhood that is readily available for drop off and pickups.   We have a fully fenced backyard full of toys, and we take full advantage of all the beautiful surrounding beaches and fun parks in our area. These include Uplands Park, Fireman’s Park, Carnarvon Park, Willow’s Beach and Camas Trail.

Our indoor space is a beautiful large welcoming space that is bright and full of sun. We also have a main sleeping room with cribs and toddler beds for children over two. The entire area is child safe and approved by Childcare Licensing Regulation Branch.

We also participate in organized playgroups and extra activities with weekly music classes provided by a talented Musical Therapist and Children’s music specialist. Weekly we adventure into our community on out-trips to the local parks, local gardens and the beach too!

We also want to help you understand all the excellent learning and developmental milestones that your littles have reached while in our care!  Our teachers are trained in "Lillio", a narrative journal and learning stories tool. It is a communication tool and app that connects our parents and families throughout the day to their 'littles' progress and happenings through their time in our program.   This is where we document their big leaps into learning and share them with you daily in their very own e-portfolio!  It's a fun way to ‘bridge the gap’ between home, childcare, and your 'little's' daily happenings in their world that changes every day.

This childcare program provides a well-rounded emergent curriculum designed to encourage the development of character, imagination, creativity, critical thinking, physical fitness, an open and receptive mind and a spirit of responsibility and service.
